A National Dine Out To End Childhood Hunger – September 20 – 26, 2009

Thousands of restaurants across the country are helping to make sure no kid in America grows hungry.  The funds raised from this campaign will support:

• increasing participation in school food and nutrition programs
• increasing the number of community gardens
• food banks and food pantries
• increasing access to fresh produce
• increasing utilization of federal child food and nutrition programs, e.g. food stamps, school breakfast, etc.
• advocacy around child food and nutrition-related programs

Everyone can join the Great American Dine Out in these ways:

• volunteer your skills – register restaurants and/or sponsors in your community
• dine out during the campaign period of September 20 – 26, 2009
• tell everyone you know – family, friends, employees, colleagues and associations – to eat out during the campaign period at participating Great American Dine Out restaurants
• make a personal, tax-deductible donation
