Starts July 9, 2010 until the end of Summer
5:30pm – 6:30pm every other Friday
Come and learn from Chef Allen Susser and his team some of this summer’s most exciting and new dishes. They will demonstrate two recipes and pass out samples for you to try. You will learn about the spices they use, different ways to cook with them, and how the flavors compliment with certain wines.

Taste of the Nation Tuesdays at Whole Foods Market
Spend your Tuesday evenings in July learning from South Florida’s top chefs and supporting Share Our Strength’s mission to end childhood hunger. Whole Foods Market has been a longtime sponsor of Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation. They will be offering complimentary cooking demonstrations at the Aventura and Coral Gables stores every Tuesday in July at 7:00pm. Each demonstration is free of charge and will last approximately one hour. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Whole Foods Market stores. Attendees of the cooking demo’s will have a chance to win VIP tickets to Taste of the Nation Miami. Two winners will be selected from a drawing of all attendees at the final demo at both stores on July 27, 2010.

Aventura: All-American July 4th Fireworks Display

All American July 4th Fireworks Display in Aventura on July 4, 2010
The City of Aventura is hosting it’s annual fireworks display on the 4th of July. The display can be viewed from any location along the Country Club Drives. Fireworks begin promptly at 9:00pm.
Rain date for the fireworks will be Monday, July 5, 2010 at 9:00pm.
