- bounce houses
- carnival games
- a trick or treat trail
- arts and crafts
- a costume parade

In a report, Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) the NAR reported:
The majority of Buyers found the home of their dreams online, while less than 2% found it through newspaper ads.
Wonder why the real estate advertising in the newspaper has decreased so much? This is the reason why. Newspapers don’t sell houses. The majority of property buyers, 83% according to the NAR, purchased their homes through a real estate professional, and 88% of sellers used a real estate agent in their sales transaction.

City of Aventura will present it’s annual Independence Day fireworks celebration on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 9:00pm. The fireworks can be viewed from any location along Country Club Drive.
In the event of rain the fireworks will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 9:00pm.

City of Aventura 2011 Hurricane Preparedness Summit
When: June 9, 2011 at 7:00pm
Where: City of Aventura Government Center, 19200 West Country Club Dr Aventura, FL 33180
The City of Aventura in association with The Continental Group and 610 WIOD News Talk Radio will host a 2011 Hurricane Preparedness Summit. This event is open to Condominium Association Board Members, Property Managers and all residents of the City of Aventura. Admission to this event is free.
The panel will discuss best practices in hurricane preparedness and focus on helping attendess create a realistic, functional plan that is critical for successful preparation, response and recovery. Topics will include:
- steps for creating a personal hurricane plan
- how to protect your community, common areas and property
- how to prepare for an evacuation
- what to expect before, during and after a storm
- community training and preparedness for hi-rise condominiums if a hurricane strikes
